Secondary use of cleaning products The technology BIOTAL based on the concept, suggesting sewage treatment and disposal of cleaning products to the condition of consumer products - industrial water and organic fertilizer. (Recommendation of the use of treated wastewater from the plant BIOTAL by the Institute of Hygiene of O.M.MARZEEV of Academy of Medical Sciences № 21/4191 dated 11/05/2002) Removed from the system stabilized and dewatered surplus activated sludge after disinfection can be used as organic mineral fertilizer (SNIP 2.04.03-85, paragraph 6.341). For disinfection aerobically stabilized surplus sludge is applied biothermal processing (composting) in accordance with the requirements of SNIP 2.04.03-85 paragraph 6.402-6.403. Composting should be done in combination with fillers (solid waste, peat, sawdust, leaves, straw, etc.) or finished compost. With appropriate facilities and equipment, decontamination of excess sludge can be done by heating it to 60 °C with maintaining at least 20 minutes, at the design temperature (SNIP 2.04.03-85, paragraph 6.402). Treated wastewater can be used for irrigation, industrial use, such as car washing to return to the secondary circulation (toilets, fire ponds, etc.).

The easiest and most profitable way to dispose of treated wastewater is their use for agricultural crops irrigation. Irrigation with treated wastewater - a complex event, aimed to protect the environment from pollution by sewage, the intensification of agricultural production and aesthetic landscape zones. During irrigation treated wastewater irrigation methods are applied: the surface irrigation and micro-irrigation. Treated wastewater can be successfully used for irrigation by micro-irrigation systems: 1) gardens, vineyards; 2) landscape zones (lawns), garden and park areas, natural green lanes; 3) golf courses, football fields; 4) forage crops and pasture. Application of micro-irrigation provides: - exploitation warranty up to 50 years; - irrigation water savings of up to 50% under micro sprinkler irrigation and 4-6 times under drip irrigation; - increase of the yield up to 30-70% and improvement of commercial products quality; - nutrients supply with irrigation water; - aesthetic appearance of the site in decorative landscaping, lawn with laying a subsurface irrigation pipes and sprinklers drawers. Specifications of micro-irrigation systems: Water consumption per 1 ha - 4-15 m3/hr at a pressure of 0.05-0.1 MPa. Energy consumption per 1 ha - 0,3-1,2/kWh. Water distribution management - manual, automated and automatic with using moisture sensors - tensiometers. Modern energy-saving ecologically safe methods and technologies of micro-irrigation of crops, including the use of waste water, developed by the Institute of Hydraulic Engineering and Land Reclamation (IGiM) of the Ukrainian Academy of Agrarian Sciences and its Crimean branch.
